My ex-wife and I were fighting as we were driving home. We were on the highway. Finally I said you know what I don't want to do this anymore if were going to keep fighting then just let me out man, i don't want to fight anymore I'll walk. Well she did. So there I was walking home on the side of the highway. In my mind I thought...okay she'll be back, we'll make up and go home and it will be cool.

she didn't.

Instead I spent the next 2 hours walking home and thinking up the lyrics for Carolyne. Guess thats why they call them "Ex".

Hate the sound of a world crashing down, Crashing down unto me. you know I baton down the hatches when you say your sorry, sorry for the past, it’s like a hammer being sorry for busting hour glasses of faith.
